YEARS OF PRACTICE AS A RHEUMATOLOGIST

Started the career as a rheumatologist in March 1992 at Cairo university: (3 years as a resident, 4 years as an assistant lecturer, 5 years as a lecturer, 5 years as an assistant professor and professor in 2008 till present)

Three years of experiences as a pediatric rheumatologist at New Children’s Hospital at Cairo University in the period from 1996 to 1999.

Seven years of experience as a Consultant and Head of the Rheumatology Unit at the Internal Medicine Department at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (October 2004 till October 2011)

Assistant to Prof. Tahsin Hadidi, Former President of the International League against Rheumatism (ILAR) during the period from October 1994 till October 1997

Training at the department of Orthopedics at the Academic Hospital in Utrecht, Netherlands (October 1987)

Course in MRI of the spine at the Egyptian Medical Syndicate (1996)

Course in “Fundamentals of Critical Care Support” sponsored by the American society for critical care and held by the Dept. of Critical Care at the New Kasr Elaini Hospital (Certified as provider of critical care support in April 2004)
