Basic and clinical immunology for physicians

Description

The first version of this course was given in 2003. It is a very simplified introduction to the study of immunology and targets physicians from different medical disciplines and also pharmacists working in the field of immunology. It is a 10-hour course that Dr. Hatem provided regularly to the junior doctors at the different medical departments of Cairo University. Later, it was held at different organizations in Egypt (as Cairo Kidney Center) and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Dr. Soliman Fakeeh hospital and Kind Fahd hospital in Jeddah and staff of different pharmaceutical companies). Course 2

Communication skills for effective doctor-patient relationship

Description

Dr. Hatem has been teaching this course since 2004 until present. Three versions of this course are available, a one-day course (5-6 hours), a two-day course (10 hours) and a three-day course (15 hours). The course targets postgraduate doctors and medical students starting from the fourth year medical school as well as nurses.Dr. Hatem provides the one-day version of this course regularly at the Medical Education Development Center of Cairo University to Master degree candidates and at the Doctors’ Medical syndicate of Cairo to doctors from all over Egypt. He also provided this course to the staff in a long list of medical organizations, governmental and private, and also, in addition to doctors in Egypt, to doctors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sudan.Starting the academic year 2018-2019, Dr. Hatem is providing a 20-hour extended course curriculum “Communication Skills for Doctors” to medical students at Cairo University, the credit hour system.

Description

this course targets rheumatologists mainly and also and orthopedic doctors and interested internists and sports medicine specialists. I provide it once per year at the department of rheumatology at Cairo University.

Description

This course targets rheumatologists, orthopedic doctors, interested internists, and sports medicine specialists. I provide it once per year at the department of rheumatology at Cairo University.

Course 5

Customer service in the field of medical practice

Description

I provide this course twice a year to the staff at Keprc Clinics in Cairo and am invited to give it at different private medical facilities. This course combines NLP theories with the basic principles of customer service with my personal experience in this field as a director of a medical center.

Rheumatoid arthritis for non-rheumatologists

Description

This one-day course targets general practitioners and internists who see a lot of rheumatoid arthritis patients in regions where there are no rheumatologists available.
